Nothing can be irritating to a computer user than working on a sluggish system. A system working at a snail’s pace is certainly not appreciated by anyone, however how many of us really work towards maintaining the efficiency of the system. It would be surprising to know that many users are not aware of the reasons that cause the computer to go slow. Computer errors that pop-up while working raise an alarm of something going wrong in the system. Most of the users are seen grappling with the issue of  how to fix computer errors.

 It may seem a bit of task, but it is imperative for the user to get acquainted with some crucial aspects of the system and have a basic know-how on enhancing PC performance. Some important basic tips to reduce PC errors and enhance the PC performance are mentioned below which even a layman should know about.



1.Periodic computer maintenance is essential. This will eliminate the errors and facilitate the functioning of your system. Computer tune up services include all the necessary maintenance services which helps in optimizing the PC performance.

2. Many a times, when you start up the system, there are several other unwanted programs or software which may run simultaneously. This may affect the PC start-up speed. Check for the list of unwanted programs by doing the following.
  • On the windows button, click on “Run” and type “msconfig”. You will get a pop-up box, in that click the “start-up” to find the list of programs that run while starting the PC. De-activate the unnecessary ones.

3.Ensure that while installing or uninstalling a program or software, the execution is thoroughly performed. A partially executed operation may culminate into Registry errors. Unwanted program should also be removed. This can be done using the control panel. There is an option of removing unwanted programs/files in the control panel. Simply Right-click and click on “Uninstall” to remove the desired program.

4.  Disk cleanup is another crucial activity that should be done on periodic basis. This will remove the unwanted bulk of files which cause the PC to run slow. Type “cleanmgr.exe” in the window that you get after typing “Run” in the Window Start Icon. This will give you access to the Disk Cleanup option. Select the drive which you would like to clean.

5. Keep all sought of Malware, Spyware, and Virus at bay. To remove virus, install Antivirus software’s that build a tight firewall security and keep the system safe from the lurking online threats.

6. Disk fragmentation, upgrading computer RAM memory and making adjustments for better performance are simple techniques to enhance PC performance
